House of Avi Welcomes Tanya Herbert, Guinness World Record Holder for the Largest Feet (US Size 18)
Hi there,
I’ve always believed that confidence begins when you stop forcing yourself to fit into things that were never made for you. It's what House of Avi has build on. A space built on comfort, thoughtful design, and real inclusivity.
And today, that belief grows into something truly special.
It gives me so much joy to welcome Tanya Herbert, the Guinness World Record holder for the largest feet (female), as the new face of House of Avi. Tanya wears a US women’s size 20, and for most of her life, finding shoes that fit wasn’t just hard — it was disheartening.
Every store visit came with the same answer: “Sorry, we don’t make that size.”
Every trip down the aisle felt like another quiet reminder that fashion had drawn its lines too small.
But Tanya never shrank herself to fit in. She chose to rise above it — to speak for every woman who’s ever felt overlooked in a world that leaves little room for difference. That strength is what defines her. It’s everything we believe in at House of Avi.

The first time Tanya slipped into her pair of Avi shoes — made precisely to support larger sizes and unique proportions — something beautiful happened. She smiled, not just because they were comfortable, but because they fit. Truly fit. That’s when it hit me: this is what inclusion feels like — not symbolic, not performative, but personal.
For us, inclusivity isn’t a marketing line. It’s not a seasonal theme or a checkbox we tick to look progressive. It’s about representation that’s real — where women of every size, from a 4 to a 20, can find something made for them, not around them.
At House of Avi, we’ve always believed that every woman deserves shoes that look good, feel good, and actually fit. We design for women with larger feet because beauty, comfort, and craftsmanship should belong to everyone — style shouldn’t stop at a number on a size chart.

Having Tanya join us makes that belief even stronger. Together, we’re moving toward a world where fashion makes room for real people — every foot, every step, every story.
And this isn’t just about footwear. It’s about the quiet confidence that comes from finally being seen, and the simple power of standing tall in who you are.
With pride,
Avi
